Cleaning Recessed Lights

1. Turn off the power

2. Allow fixtures to cool
   If the lights were recently on, wait until the bulbs and surrounding components have completely cooled to avoid burns or damage.

   Use a microfiber cloth or an extendable duster to remove dust, cobwebs, and debris from inside the fixture. Work gently around the bulb and wiring.
6. Clean the light bulb
   If the bulb is dusty, remove it carefully and wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure it is scorched before placing it back in the socket.
7. Reattach the trim
   Once everything is clean and dry, securely reattach the trim, making sure it sits flush with the ceiling.

1. Turn off the fan

   Use a clean, dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture from blades and housing.
7. Check balance and operation
   While cleaning, note any wobbling or unusual noises. Minor adjustments or professional servicing may be needed to maintain performance.
