Email Broadcast Services
At Newsletter Station we do not offer a service to send your completed email newsletter. Any time after you initially save your newsletter, you can click the "Published Page" link at the top of the page to see how your newsletter is progressing. Each newsletter is built as an individual web page formatted for email broadcasting.
To broadcast your finished newsletter you will need to use your in-house email system, or use an outside email broadcast service. The following are options to consider.
Your Current Email Program
If you have a small list (less than 50) you may wish to simply send the completed email directly from your email program. This should be a simple process. You may wish to avoid including all your clients in one large CC group because you will then display your entire list to all clients. it may be best to send one at a time.
Current Email Program Add-on
If you have a medium size list (50 to a few hundred) you may wish to use an add-on to your current email program. One option for Microsoft Outlook is called Easy Mail Merge. This program can be used to send emails one at a time from your prepared list. This make each sent email unique and avoid spam propblems that can occur with batch sending of emails. For information see Easy Mail Merge.
Professional Email List Management Services
If your email client list is 100 or more, you may wish to consider using one of the professional email list management services available. Many of these services will offer the ability to create your own template, but they don't offer the key benefit found at Newsletter Station, the ability to combine your unique content with content from a vast Content Database to make the job of creating a content filled email newsletter so much quicker and easier. These email list services have the added benefit of automating the client subscribing and unsubscribing process. See the following for more information.
Most email list management services allow for direct placement of your email newsletter by inserting the html source code. The only additional information may include the special code used for list management or unsubscribing that many email list management service require. You may be able to include these special codes in either the Header Note or Footer Note boxes. A few of the more popular services follow.
