Applications Lab Available for Trials
Conduct Your Coating Trial at USI's Lab
Since many applications are proprietary and protected by non-disclosure agreements, the best way to see what USI's technology can do for you is to send your substrate and coating material to us for a trial. We will coat your substrate using our technology and return it to you with a video of the process. For details contact our applications lab at sales@ultraspray.com. |

Prism Semiconductor Coating System
USI manufactures a high performance line of semiconductor coating systems based on patented ultrasonic technology. The Prism Ultra-Coat is a line of programmable semiconductor coating systems designed for the deposition of very thin layers, flux, photo resist and conductive inks to wafers. The Prism is ideal for spray coating wafers with micro-vias and non-traditional wafer designs. |
|
|
Ultra-Spray Technology
All Prism Systems feature USI's patented Ultra-Spray technology, which is industry proven and delivers a more precise spray coating application than conventional spray, spin coating, dispensing and other coating technologies. Ultra-Spray coating heads employ ultrasonic energy to form a spray and low pressure directed air streams to shape and focus the pattern. |

Lead-Free Wave Soldering Case Study:
Measuring Through-Hole Penetration
Lead-free solder alloys do not "spread out" and fill the plated-through holes of circuit boards as well as lead bearing alloys. As the industry moves toward lead-free soldering, applications are more dependent upon good flux chemistry and a robust fluxing system able to deliver flux into all plated-through holes of a circuit board.
USI and a leading EMS company conducted a recent Case Study to measure the ability of USI's Optima Fluxing System to achieve complete flux through-hole penetration on extremely wide and thick circuit boards for lead-free assembly. |
